METAMORPHOSIS

Metamorphosis is a short abstract film made to illustrate the phases of growth that one goes through in their life. Growth comes with many obstacles and battles, but also comes with realisation and self-acceptance. This film is meant to show exactly that, with different frames in different places around Singapore - enunciating how different places leave a mark on us and help us grow, hence the vines growing on the persona’s chest. This idea goes the same for meeting new people, and how people leave a mark on us - good, or bad. Everyday, we grow into better versions of ourselves.

ISOLATION

This film was created while I was in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was made to relate to everyone in isolation, completely detached from the world. It was not specifically related to current world events, but more so towards emotional isolation and detachment from reality. The film is for people who struggle to leave their home, and limit their interactions with the rest of the world. Though you may feel lonely, you are not alone.

DOLLED UP

This short film was made by myself and university peers, and is classified as short arthouse film following the genres of satirical romance, and horror. The film follows a young woman struggling with obsessions of her partner, with a shocking and gruesome twist.

KRAMER VS KRAMER (REMAKE)

This short scene is a remake from Robert Benton’s ‘Kramer vs. Kramer’ (1979), adapted to modern UK times. I assisted with the preproduction, production, and postproduction stages of this scene along with several other peers and industry professionals at Central Film School, London.

DAYDREAM - KARAN

A music video I created for an upcoming artist, entirely shot in Singapore.

AFFLICTION

Everyone deals with heartbreak. This short film is made to relate to the people in the world who are hurting, whether they got their heartbroken, are part of a toxic relationship, or are just simply yearning for love. The film explores the dark side of love, and the pain and loneliness that one endures from something that causes them heartache.

SMOTHER

This film is made for the ones who struggle with inevitable sadness. It explores the negative effects of mental health that can consume someone’s identity, and can take over their entire life. The film is specifically for the ones who struggle with depression and anxiety, who are constantly consumed by a darkness they cannot escape. This film relates to them on a deeper, and personal level to remind them that they do not have to go through this alone.
